Description

Inverted bucket steam traps utilize an open, inverted, bucket as a type of float.  Steam fills the inverted bucket which causes it to float and close the valve.  Condensate collecting under the bucket reduces its buoyant force and the bucket falls, pulling the valve open.  These traps find use in a wide variety of applications.  Small traps are used on steam drip and product tracing applications.  Large traps are used in some process applications.  These traps feature a rugged, simple design.  Hardened internals ensure long life and reliable service.

Series 1030

The Series 1030 Inverted Bucket Traps are an economical method for removing condensate from drip and specific process applications.  These traps feature rugged cast iron bodies with 1/2" thru 1 1/2" pipe connections and in-line reparability.  All internal components are stainless steel with hardened seats and designed with a frictionless free floating guided lever valve mechanism to eliminate wear points.
