1 Cover : The ceiling surfaces for the body are recessed or
ring type joint depending upon the size and pressure of
valve. 2 Body: Basic dimensions, i.e. wall thickness, face to face
and flanges comply with the relevant API, ANSI, BS
standards. 3 Bonnet Bolting: Studs and nuts are manufactured from
alloy steel to the relevant ASTM standards 4 Hinge Pin: Part of the trim, in forged stainless steel for
small diameter and cast for valves with larger diameters. 5 Seat Rings: Finished surface provides seal with disc.
Installed by threading, seal welding, pressing, or as
integral part of body. 6 Disc: Part of trim. The seating face is ground and lapped,
for a perfectly tight seal. 7 Hinge: In forged stainless steel for small diameter and
cast for valves with larger diameters.
